  2. If you self-installed, please download and add your Stripe credentials to the Stripe plugin. If you chose the cloud-hosted version, you can skip the download and install step—Stripe plug-in is included, already installed and you save $75 over self-hosted in the process.

Do I need a Stripe account to use SeoSamba POS?

Yes, you do need merchant account with Stripe to use SeoSamba POS. You can however use additional payment gateways as  you see fit on your websites.

Do I need any special hardware to use SeoToaster POS?

No bulky or expensive hardware needed. Just use your smartphone, tablet, or computer to sell anywhere. All you need is the SeoSamba app, an internet connection and a Stripe account. You can add stripe card reader or rely on your smartphone contactless payment chip.  

Is SeoSamba POS free?

Yes, SeoSamba POS is entirely free to use with your self-hosted (cloud hosting is also available here)  SeoToaster eCommerce site in 2026. We will charge 1% of all transactions going through the POS starting in 2027.

How long does it take to set up?

Setup is fast and easy. You can start selling in minutes—download the app, create a cloud SeoToaster Ecommerce account (or download SeoToaster to your own server), connect your Stripe account, configure your products, and you're ready to go.

Does SeoToaster POS support inventory tracking?

Yes. Inventory is automatically updated in real time across your online store and POS, ensuring accurate stock levels wherever you sell.

Can I set different prices for different groups of customers?

Yes. SeoToaster Ultimate’s eCommerce system allows you to create customer groups and assign unique tiered pricing or discount levels to each —perfect for wholesale or VIP clients. Customer accounts consolidate both in-store and online purchase history, so clients enjoy consistent pricing and discounts whether they shop in person via the SeoSamba POS app or online.

Can I sync in-person and online sales with customer accounts?

Absolutely. Purchases made in-store or online are tracked in one unified customer account, making loyalty pricing and order history easily accessible.

Can I generate sales reports and receipts?

Yes. Sales reports, digital receipts, and customer data are all accessible from your dashboard—whether the purchase was made online or in person.

Does it work offline?

SeoToaster POS works best with an internet connection. Offline mode is only supported for cash sales. Once the internet connection si re-established, sales are synced up with the back-end of your store(s).

Is SeoToaster POS secure?

Yes. Transactions are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant provider. We never store credit card information on our servers.
