Requirements:

Web server: Apache 2, Nginx. Any web server that can do re-writes and support php should work too (not tested).
mod_rewrite module: For Apache 2 only.
PHP 5.3.3 or higher
Mysql 5.X: Create One empty MySQL database.. (example: seotoaster) and make it UTF8 Unicode if you wish to use other languages.
PDO extension for PHP
MBString: Works with any language
GD Libaries 2.0 or newer: Works with images
Zip extension for PHP: Permit themes management through the interface
Curl extension for PHP: 3rd party services connection: Google, Yahoo, PayPal, etc.
Important! Make sure you turn OFF Magic quotes, either with the htaccess that comes with the package or in your PHP.ini (Otherwise you will get a bunch of '\' in the templates when loading themes).

Optional but recommended:

Ioncube loader: SEOTOASTER uses it with plugins. This is installed on most web servers by default, our installer will tell you if it's missing. Come back and download here if needed

i think so because theres no error messages. After inputting the db names and rights.. its freezes there.. nothing happens. but i verified that the db was successfully created.

I can't install it, even though all dependencies are met, I get "Can't install database. Server sent following error: SQLSTATE[23000]: Integrity constraint violation: 1062 Duplicate entry 'currentTheme' for key 'PRIMARY'" on an empty database, the tables are created in the database. This is an error on step 2.

It's not just a windows error, it's the CMS's installer in general. Also, even though it throws that error, it still creates the database, but will not continue in the installer past part 2.

Hey Dennis, can't you describe a bit your environment (PHP, MySQL, Webserver versions )? Because we made numerous success installations on CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu servers and even on Windows machine with WAMP/WEMP stacks.

hm, ok, The localhost Debian Machine has 16GB RAM, AMDx6 3.4GHz, Latest PHP/MySQL LAMP setup from the repo's (Can't remember off hand which version, but they are the latest before PHP6.0). The Laptop I first tried to install it on, is a Windows 7 machine, 8GB RAM, AMDx4 2.4HGz, WAMP Stack running their latest Install PHP 5.3.8/MySQL 5.5.16. I also use Chrome in Windows and Chrome/Chromium in Debian. I haven't however tried it any other browser. Hope that helps. I'll try downloading and installing again, just in case the download came down corrupt. I don't have time to try fix the issue myself, as I am currently building a FOSS CMS myself.

Hello again Dennis. Thanks for your feedback. It's not an IonCube related bug at all. We found that this issue related to Zend Framework and preg_replace() function and it's platform specific. So we are working on fix and we'll publish updated package online early next week.
