I changed the domain name of my website, and since then it doesn't send emails anymore. Do you have any hint what to do? With a fresh installation email works, but I'd like to avoid build the site from scratch.

Thank you for your e-mail.

Please check the settings of SMTP if it is used.
Does the error log contain any errors regarding sending the e-mails?
Please specify which e-mails are not sending: order confirmation e-mail, standard contact forms e-mails, etc?

OK, I tested it through. I don't see errors in the webserver log (but I don't have access to the full log I guess).  A fresh installation of 2.3. (via Softaculous) sends these emails:
- Quote - Quote received (to admin and customer)
- Seotoaster - New Member Registered (via Register link) (sent to member)

It does NOT send these emails:
- Store - New Customer registered (I assume this would be via the checkout widget)
- Store - new order is placed (should I receive a quote and order after using the Quote widget? In the Dashboard at least I see both).
- Seotoaster - Password reset

I don't use the SMTP server, it seems to work without it for the first two cases mentioned.

Can you tell me if there will soon be any updates to the eCommerce solution? I have to finish this project  but am unable to do so with all these bugs. In worst case I have to chose another solution but I hope that I can do it with seotoaster!

Thank you for the information provided.

1. The e-mail Store - New customer is registered will be sent if checkout is completed via payment gateway. It won't be sent after submitting a Quote. If you wish, you can hide the standard registration form on the first step of checkout and insert seotoaster registration form by adding 'Member sign-up' widget.

2. You need to configure the action e-mails for Quote widget via Manage action e-mails & SMS - Quotes event area - New quote created. Right now you have configured the e-mails for Store event area.

3. We have tested the e-mail Password reset on your installation and the e-mail with reset link was delivered in Spam folder. Please make sure to check it as well.

Also, please make sure to log out of SeoToaster admin panel to test the  action e-mails.

Sorry, you're right, the emails went to the spam folder of my forwarder mailbox where I didn't check that. So emails are working!

And I will test the tip regarding member sign-up widget instead of using the standard checkout sign-up form.

I am not sure how I should make the sign-up during checkout with quote widget work well. If would probably have to modify somehow the checkout widget. Furthermore, after signing up (with sign-up widget instead of checkout widget) I get redirected to the homepage, so it's not a smooth check-out process.

In my opinion this is a bug (registration email not sent when using quote widget) and should be corrected. Is there any possibility that Seotoaster developers will do this?

Hello Philippe,

If you use checkout widget SeoToaster considers the customer to be registered only after completing the check-out process. Then, if corresponding action e-mail is configured in the system, the customer receives an e-mail with his password.

For each quote requested, SeoToaster creates particular page with unique URL address. If you configure the corresponding action e-mails, the users will receive the e-mail containing that link and your message. You can manage your quotes via Dashboard - Quotes.
