What is appropriate usage?
Hosted & TOASTED is designed to serve the web hosting needs of small, independently owned and operated businesses. It is not appropriate to use our services to support large enterprises or internationally based businesses with a sustained demand that places undue burden on our systems or negatively impacts use by small, independently owned and operated businesses.
Hosted & TOASTED is a shared web hosting service, which means that a number of customers' web sites and other email or storage services are hosted from the same server. SEOTOASTER uses abuse controls to help ensure that use of our services does not adversely affect the performance of our system or other customers' sites. It is not appropriate to use an account primarily as an online storage space or for archiving electronic files. Please get in touch with us if you require a dedicated server for your website operations.
DNS services?
We don't do DNS. You keep your domain at your domain registrar. Just point the WWW/Cname record for your domain to our server or we'll take care of it for you.
Parked domains?
We don't do parked domains. You can have as many domains as you wish pointing to your website. Just add an alias to your main domain within your registrar interface or we'll take care of it for you.
Email?
We don't do email. However, we can set you up with a Google business doc account. Unlimited emails @yourdomain.com can be created and used proficiently thanks to Gmail's servers and their outstanding up-time record & anti-spam technology. Just point your mail exchanger (MX) record to Gmail or we'll take care of all the technical details for you.
Disk space?
We don't have a hard limit for disk space. Reasonable use in relation to the traffic your site generates is the ratio we look at.
Bandwidth?
We don't have a hard limit for bandwidth. Once again, reasonable use is what we look at. This means that torrents & large file streaming businesses should find another host.
FTP access?
We don't do FTP. Great thing is that you don't need it with SEOTOASTER. It is also one less security vulnerability to worry about for your website.
SSH access?
We don't do SSH. You don't need it either with SEOTOASTER.
